P(re) S(cript) :

I have a clear plan of sequence for writing posts in my blog. For various reasons, obviously 70pc of them related to my laziness. There have been numerous occasions to write down after placing my first post, however, I did not do so in order to avoid the continuity of my plan. However, after reading RSR gari post on JP episode in dare2questionnow blog, I had to make a small exception. I was trying to make a comment for his post, but faced with two problems. It became too lengthy… almost to the length of a post on its own, and I could not properly post my comment, for reasons unknown to me. With due respect to RSR garu, I am placing this as a post in my blog. I think he can understand me.   – Phaneendra

1. Though JP is a great inspiration to many, including myself, I think he is quite aware of the political mindset even in his bureaucratic past. May be personally he is sincere and non corrupt and speaks of ideals, he must be very much aware of and interacted with political leaders’ behaviors. I think one should understand that speaking ideals or nonsense (unfortunately, both differ with very minute thin line, it seems) despite the actual position is part and parcel of (maintaining) position and stature. I think JP is also no exception. He might be very inspiring for so many irrespective of his origin or region, at the same time, he is also humane and needs to showcase some ideals (or ignorance!), despite knowing the factual situations.

2. What took place in Orissa Assembly or some other EU country’s parliament is also condemnable, but a lesser intensity does not make the incident acceptable. It is normally presumed that AP is far educated or civilized than Orissa. (might be mere a notion, still…) To the best of my knowledge, there were no such violent incidents in AP Assembly by a group of MLAs (in Jeevan Reddy’s case, I think he individually did that. If am wrong, please enlighten me.)

3. Trying to obstacle the speeches of Governors/President, tearing of the speech text copies might also be normal – you said. Were there any incidents of trying to pull out and tear off the Governor’s hand copy ever took place in AP Assembly? You further said – such acts are mere anguish and emotions of opposition parties against the ruling party. I doubt any political party does any thing emotionally. They act emotions, in order to attract the attention and sympathy or simply for the sake of opposition, be it Congress, TDP, Leftists, Rightists or TRS. I think even Mr JP also did the same. That does not mean he did not really hurt with what happened in the house.

4. You say not only the TRS MLAs’ act should not be supported. but JP also should not have spoken like that in the Assembly premises. But I think such an act is a political necessary for both the parties. Getting political mileage is more important than any thing… keep aside the arguments of injustice and emotions or democracy and ethics, blah blah blah. And Assembly, that too during the budget session, is the right place and time. If not there, where? If not then, when?

5. Reg Governor remarks and TRS anguish – Despite the political loyalties and motives, Governors should not make any political comments; is the normal general rule. If the uneducated media people (despite my being in electronic media, I’m uttering such a harsh word – just to indicate my anguish over those reporters or editors who doesn’t study anything but communicate nonsense) ask for political comments from a person in Governor’s position, how come a person in such position respond? For the same, Mr Narasimhan replied in such a manner. Please observe his histrionics and body language… does it ever indicate a sarcastic comment on such a sensitive issue? Narasimhan is such a fool. If one observes that sound bite normally, it is easy to simply understand his denial of making any comments and getting trapped in unnecessary controversy. (Of course many may argue he is the IPS agent of Congress and working against the T agitation, even then, he wouldn’t dare to speak callously.) Even then TRS could successfully use that occasion to make him a villain. Is that issue not being dragged into the controversy time and again for mere political reasons? Congress party has so many people to make political comments. Why ask the Governor? Was it not a politically motivated question to the wrong person?

6. JP not reacting on Marshals’ tough behavior – Was it the real issue? JP not criticizing the UPA for its double game on Telangana – Was it the matter at that time? Was he not condemning the MLAs’ behavior in the floor of assembly in budget session? Violation of Constitution in the state – It was not about the … … state, about the … … house.

7. He would have spoken in his office or in Assembly premises only after some time – (a) Will TRS spare JP if he had done so at a later time? It is open secret that JP is dead against the TRS, keep aside the state separation matter and correctness of either parties. In such a condition, TRS would beat him black and blue at any given point of time. You yourself are almost admitting that no point of JP is wrong including the likely arousal of emergency situation. Then how can JP keep mum for the fear of TRS? (b) TRS claiming it was angry with Governor’s speech as there was no mention of T in it, but is it not true that they had decided to stall the house even before the session started? Is it not true that they have planned Non-Cooperation before this session, with the intent of stalling the budget? Is it not true that their act is to gain political mileage despite their clear knowledge of govt can get the budget passed by hook or crook? The same TRS which still maintaining soft stand on Congress will remain forever aggressive on JP who you say silent on Congress.

8. Your note at the bottom – Sir, though you urge not no make ‘counter’wise comments, I am unable to understand is the suggestion to stay calm at times from RSR, who is asking 4Qs vis-a-vis D2Q’s philosophy. In fact, had you not inserted that foot note and the top update, I would not have responded so lengthy. Sorry for killing your time.

9. Further – I don’t think you forget that JP is also a politician. He too needs his share of publicity, or to say in a smooth manner, space at the media point, or to say in media lingo, his space of live coverage. While TRS MLAs went on violent path in and out of Assembly in order to get its share of mileage through igniting the sentiments (here I’m not speaking of the pros and cons of separation of or keeping united the state, that’s a different ball game), I think JP of Lok Satta went on with intellectual outcry in order to gain the sympathy of so-called middle class and democratic lovers. This does not mean his anguish lacks genuineness, but still, I sense it has is own political gains. It is the right of any political leader and JP is using it in his own way.

10. It may sound cruel but what I think is TRS attack on JP has served purpose for the both. TRS can strengthen its ground level mass vote bank for bashing the anti – T politician JP. And JP can get the sympathy and support of those who think they believe in democracy. May be it is not the real intention of either TRS or JP. But I think it is the win-win game for both.

P(ost) S(cript) : This post is a comment on the post of RSR garu on 18-02-11, however, political developments till date have no much different, leaving my write-up from being null and void.

When was in college, used to write so many poems with so ease. Of course they were full of something innocent feelings of knowledge…

But after the college days, my pen is stopped. Though I did not stop writing, it became a ‘Once in a Blue Moon’ thing.

Hardly two poems and a story of mine were published, and after my career in Journalism, have literally gone out of the track.

I write scripts daily for my news bulletins… of course I enjoy almost all of them.. but still, there is a little scope for creative writing.

I thought so deep of my past five years, tried to recollect of any single poem or stanza I wrote, but in vein.

I don’t think myself as a great writer but I am aware that my skills are not worst. And there is no dearth of subjects to write.

It was mainly Beauty/Femininity in those days, obviously. But later I had plans for so many subjects.

Now what can I say, it took more than two years to start my blog…

Though it may sound lazy, I argue its crazy.

After all, why should one admit his laziness than any other thing…

Hha Hha… all this junk is mere because I did not streamline on a particular subject, so bear my laziness for now.

LOL…

nervous… chilling

hi one n all… at last, am also into the net world.. it has been a long time dream, n obviously, it shows my laziness of starting a blog so late. am nervous, n feeling chilled… as it is second half of the december (lol). any way… what is the relation between this journalist and this dreamer… i try to speak out in my next post. c ya, bfn
